This much-talked-about film, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 12th Antakya International Film Festival in Turkey in 2024, has been shown at film festivals in 13 countries around the world, including the United States, the Netherlands, India, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy, and has won a total of 32 film awards, will be screened in Japan for the first time!

Introduction
The film is based on the actual events of the "democracy protests" that took place in Hong Kong from 2019 to 2020, and is told from the different perspectives of two Hong Kong women living in Japan, Diana Sato, and a Japanese man, Taku Nagato.
This is a docudrama that combines documentary techniques with dramatic drama.

This is the fifth time that Kenkichi Sakai has worked with STUDIO F+, including “Digital Camera of Fate” (2011) and “Santa ga Sannin!?” (2013). For his film “Diana from Hong Kong,” Sakai won the Best Sounding Award at the 2024 Kurdistan International Independent Film Festival (KIIFF).

While a student in the doctoral program of Nihon University Graduate School of Art, established the independent video production group STUDIO F+ (studiofplus) and began working on video production.
November 2007
A Otaku Guy from America,” a short documentary film produced and directed by the director, was selected for the Kawasaki Short Film Festival.
May 2009
Produced and directed a documentary film “Cinema Story 2007 - 2008” and presented at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Imaging Science and Technology held at Nagoya University, Japan.
May 2010
Produced and directed an experimental film “Marija's World” at the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Imaging Science and Technology held at Nihon University College of Art.
November 2010
Received the Gizmon Award for the short film “Nighttime Phone Receptionist” produced and directed at the first iPhone 3-minute Film Festival.
August 2011
Won the “Popular CM Award” at the “Morinaga Nubo CM Contest” sponsored by filmo for the commercial work produced and directed by the filmmaker.

Won the “JCN Kita President's Award,” a judges' special award, for the 30-second commercial “Kita-ku, the City of Writers,” which he produced and directed, in the “Kita-ku Love CM Contest” organized by the cable TV station “JCN Kita.
